About Ved Prashnavali
What This Site Offers
Ved Prashnavali is a free website for devotees who use a prashnavali to seek guidance. A prashnavali is a traditional question and answer practice. You hold a question in mind, pray, make a choice on a chart, and read the answer it leads to.
The site brings three of these practices online:
- Ram Shalaka Prashnavali: a grid of 225 letters from Shri Ramcharitmanas by Goswami Tulsidas. The letter you choose leads to one of nine chaupais.
- Hanuman Prashnavali: a chakra of 49 numbers, each with its own message.
- Sai Baba Prashnavali: 720 numbered answers. You choose a number and read the answer for it.
Today's Guidance gives one answer a day and shows a chaupai of the day.
How to Use It
- Pray sincerely and keep one clear question in mind
- Choose a letter or a number as the page describes
- Read the answer and reflect on it
Your question stays with you. It is never typed into the site.
Please Keep in Mind
The answers on this site are part of a devotional practice. They are offered for reflection and faith, and they are not professional advice. For matters of health, law, money or safety, please use your own judgment and consult a qualified professional.
The site is free to use. It may show advertising to cover its running costs.
